Pie Recipe

INGREDIENTS
Bottom (liquid)

1 cup molasses

3/4 cup boiling water

1 tsp. Baking soda

1 egg (beaten)
DIRECTIONS
- Dissolve soda in hot water and add molasses and egg.
- Combine sugar and flour and cut in shortening to make crumbs.
- Pour 1/3 of the liquid into an unbaked crust.
- Add 1/3 of the crumb mixture.
- Continue to alternate layers, putting crumbs on top.
- Bake at 375degrees for approximately 35 minutes.
- Makes 1 (9" or 10") pie.
